The Vacuum Tray Dryer is a highly efficient drying system used for drying heat-sensitive materials under vacuum, where the boiling point of liquids is significantly reduced. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, herbal, and food industries for drying hygroscopic, heat-sensitive, and thermolabile materials.
Working Principle
In a Vacuum Tray Dryer, heat is transferred to the product via conduction from heated trays. The vacuum lowers the pressure, reducing the boiling point of moisture. This allows drying at lower temperatures, preserving product integrity. Moisture is removed through the vacuum line, often connected to a condenser and vacuum pump.
