A Vibro shifter, also known as a vibrating shifter or sieving machine, is used to separate particles by size through vibratory motion. It is widely applied in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and cosmetic industries for grading, de-dusting, and filtering powders or liquids.
Working Principle
The Vibro shifter operates on the gyratory motion principle. A vibratory motor creates high-frequency vibrations, which are transmitted to the screen deck. As the material is fed onto the screen, it gets separated by particle size — finer particles pass through the mesh, while oversized materials remain on the screen.
Applications
Features:
Vibratory Motor:
Provides the vibration needed for the sifting process.
Sieve/Screen Decks:
One or more mesh screens to classify material based on size.
Screen Frame:
Holds the sieve in place; often equipped with gaskets for sealing.
Clamping Rings:
Secure the frames and ensure tight assembly.
Base Frame:
Provides structural support and houses the motor.
Outlet Ports:
For coarse and fine material discharge.
Dust Cover (optional):
Prevents contamination and maintains cleanliness.
